The Partner Team for A Supportive Community For All is pleased to announce the selection of the Community Needs Assessment Consultant for the project as BERK Consulting.

BERK Consulting will assist the Partner Team in conducting a Community Needs Assessment through the collection and analysis of primary, and as necessary, secondary data to identify needs, assets, gaps and capacity across the Snoqualmie Valley. This data will help clarify the needs of our community members and the processes and methods that facilitate their access to human services. This data will also help inform the soon-to-be-identified Work Groups to develop appropriate solutions for the identified gaps within communities across the Valley.

BERK is an interdisciplinary consultancy integrating strategy, planning, and policy development; financial and economic analysis; and facilitation, design, and communications.  A hallmark of BERK’s approach is their ability to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences, using words, numbers, pictures, and maps to convey information in accessible, understandable formats.

The BERK team is led by Allegra Calder, a Principal at BERK. The team includes analysts Kristin Maidt, Radhika Nair, and Ben Silver.

A Supportive Community For All will strengthen community connections by building an inclusive coalition of service providers and key community stakeholders in early 2019 around a shared vision of coordinating human services to better meet the core needs of community members.  The focus is on decreasing inequities in housing, health, economic opportunity, and social connectedness through the coordinated delivery of human services.

The Partner Team heading up this effort includes: Encompass, Hopelink, Mt. Si Senior Center, Snoqualmie Valley Community Network, and the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank.

Please contact Project Coordinator Suzy Berger at with any questions.

Thank you,
The Partner Team for A Supportive Community For All
