We are pleased to announce that we are recruiting up to seven community members to join our partner team in the formation of a new governance board to guide the work of A Supportive Community For All.
This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals who are passionate about our goal to make human services more accessible in the Snoqualmie Valley by strengthening community connections. We seek to develop a board that reflects diverse backgrounds, experiences, expertise, skill sets and viewpoints. We actively seek candidates for the governance board who bring diversity of age, gender, nationality, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Commitment to values of SCFA – inclusion, collaboration, transformation, and connection
- Understanding of and commitment to meeting the needs of all people living in the Snoqualmie Valley
- Openness to continued personal and professional growth
- Willingness to sign an annual conflict-of-interest disclosure and update it during the year if necessary, as well as disclose potential conflicts before meetings and actual conflicts during meetings
