Jody Miesel, Executive Director (she/her)
Originally from New England, Jody fell in love with the Snoqualmie Valley after relocating to Carnation in 2012 to lead Sno-Valley Harvest, a then fledgling gleaning program now known as Hopelink Harvest.
A macro social worker and qualitative researcher by training, Jody has over 20 years of experience working with and on behalf of low-income and historically marginalized individuals and communities in nonprofit, academic, and government settings. She brings a passion for equity, wellness, and connection to all of her work. Jody has a BA in Sociology with a concentration in American Racial and Multicultural Studies from St Olaf College and a MSW with a Certificate in Gerontology from Boston University School of Social Work.
In her free time, you can find Jody enjoying food with friends, gardening, reading in public, or binge watching dystopian tv/movies.
Amber Toler, Human Services Director (she/her, they/them)
Amber grew up on the Colville Confederated Tribal Reservation in Eastern Washington, where rural communities and ways of life instilled in her a deep appreciation for connection, resilience, and service. In 2010, she moved to Olympia to pursue a bachelor's degree in psychology at the Evergreen State College. While completing her Master of Social Work at the University of Washington, she returned home to serve her community - giving back the knowledge and experience she had gained.
With over a decade of experience in human services, Amber has worked with individuals across the lifespan and from all walks of life. Her professional focus has primarily centered on children, youth, and families, but she also has supported single adults and people impacted by incarceration. Her roles have included case management, mental health counseling, and team leadership.
Amber is guided by the belief that we are stronger together. She is deeply committed to empowering the communities she serves and advocating for a more just and equitable world. She brings a solution-focused, strengths-based perspective to every aspect of her work.
A lifelong nature lover, Amber finds peace and inspiration in the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, and stargazing. At home, she finds joy in cooking and sharing meals with her loved ones.
Dani Páramo, Case Manager (he/him)
Born near Miami to Latin American immigrant parents, Dani spent his early years traveling between El Salvador, Mexico, and Puerto Rico before his family eventually settled in Washington. Dani grew up in Duvall and later attended Washington State University, where he earned his BA in Journalism and Multimedia Communication, and Spanish Language and Culture. At WSU, he nurtured a passion for writing, storytelling, and connection.
After starting his professional career in marketing, Dani realized his passion lay beyond branding and strategy - he wanted his work to make a difference, leading him to A Supportive Community For All, where he now focuses on serving underrepresented communities and helping those in need. As a Case Manager, Dani uses his passion, skills, and experience to make meaningful connections with the community for a more just and equitable community.
Outside of work, Dani lives and breathes fútbol, playing and watching weekly – if he can help it, he'll never miss a match! Dani also enjoys meaningful time with his wife, family, and friends, and will always make time to walk his dog, Ghost.
Serena Donaldson, Case Manager (she/her)
Serena is a skilled Case Manager and Advocate with a strong background in immigrant support, having worked internationally in various humanitarian contexts and locally within King County in resource navigation. With an educational foundation in International Sustainable Development and specialized training in Immigration Advocacy and Law, Serena is dedicated to providing personalized support to vulnerable populations. Her approach emphasizes creating safe, culturally sensitive spaces and offering holistic, compassionate assistance tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
As a Washington native who spent her early years in the Snoqualmie Valley, Serena is excited to reconnect with the community. She loves to chat, so conversation is always welcomed if you see her around! Alternatively, she loves spending time by the sea, traveling, camping, and learning languages.
Taylor Kelley, Administrative Specialist (she/her)
As a Washington native, Taylor has always admired the beauty of the Snoqualmie Valley and is grateful to be able to work in this community.
Upon completing her internship at A Supportive Community For All and receiving her BA in Human Development from Washington State University, Taylor has since held a variety of different positions within our organization. From Navigation Program Coordinator to Case Manager, and most recently Administrative Assistant, Taylor has loved working closely with the Snoqualmie Valley community for the past three years.
When she is not working Taylor enjoys baking, spending time outside with friends and family, reading and tending to her houseplants.
Vy Nguyen, Case Manager (she/her)
Vy has spent most of her life in the PNW, mostly living across the greater Seattle area before moving to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. There, she earned a degree in Public-Global Health and spent her time learning within many communities of passionate public-health practitioners, educators, and more. In the program and outside of it, she developed a deep interest in health equity and social justice. She believes in creating strong community connections to ensure that all people are able to thrive and learn with one another.
She spent most of her learning career involved in opportunities that allowed her to create a deeper understanding of how to uplift and empower communities and people in order to create and maintain change that is equitable and representative. After graduating from the University of Washington, she wanted to continue to dedicate herself to work and learning that acknowledges the power and strength of all communities. After learning about A Supportive Community For All, and meeting the people who were involved, she is glad that she can continue to see her passions represented in the working world. As a Case Manager, Vy hopes to provide people with the kindness and support they need to thrive. She hopes to continue to lead with compassion and to believe in joy always.
In her free time, Vy loves a good book, baking a delicious & sweet treat, or learning a new craft! She has a great love for music and stories that are told through all mediums.
